Cascais’s character is coastal, Atlantic-facing and maritime. Forte da Cruz in Cascais offers a clifftop ceremony with open ocean views that no Sintra venue replicates. Sintra venues offer enclosed palace gardens and forested estate grounds. The choice between them is primarily aesthetic.
